About Monroeville, OH - Happy to be your hometown Heating & Air Conditioning Contractor!
Monroeville, Ohio is a village in Huron County. It was established in the 1800s, and today has about 1,400 residents. Monroeville is known for its high school sports – the Monroeville Eagles wrestling team were state champions four times, have been featured in “Wrestling USA” on numerous occasions and posted the most dominant run in state high school wrestling history. Local businesses include a furniture company, a farm equipment and supply retailer and Monroeville Marine, a boating service and sales facility serving the area since 1954.
Monroeville, though small, hosts a number of events throughout the year that are popular with locals and visitors alike. The Monroeville American Legion holds a fish fry each Friday from April through October, and the Monroeville Dam Festival held each Memorial Day weekend, has events such as a softball tournament, a pizza eating contest, a parade, a car show, and even a “toilet race”. The St. Joseph Parish Festival, with its poker and blackjack tournaments, children's games, raffles and chicken dinners, has been attracting crowds for nearly 50 years despite July's sometimes sweltering heat and high humidity. Temperatures drop sharply in the wintertime when on many days the mercury seldom rises above the teens, but the town still celebrates the holidays with an annual Christmas celebration in Clark Park featuring a visit from Santa, refreshments and a kids' coloring contest.
